Base Pay: 18.00 per HOUR

Shifts: 12 hour shifts; Flexibility is required as you're working rotating weekends
Shift times: can vary from 6am - 6:30pm or 6pm to 6:30am (open availability required as we will not know your shift until time of 2nd interview)

The Operator is responsible for operating a given number of plastic blow molding machines (including in-line equipment), and makes necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner. The primary duties of an Operator include:

• Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned
• Properly fill out and turn in all daily quality and production paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Keep pallet tags and counts accurate.
• Operate plant machinery.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain clear effective communication with others in order to produce maximum results with minimum hassle.
• Communicate observed safety, production or quality problems to Supervisor.
• Foster ideas for improvement in methods, cost reduction, and quality.
• Adhere to Lock out/Tag out program.
• Observe all safe practice guidelines.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment on all production lines.
• Recognize quality defects and learn their cause and correction.
• Participate in the correction of any line safety issues.
• Actively participate in available training and utilize learned skills to maintain safe, efficient operation of all line equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Lead Person, including assisting and learning job responsibilities of other classifications as required.

Quality Auditors

Shift: Flexible as you may be working a day or night shift. Determined during second interview.
12 hour shifts Rotating weekends ability to work 6pm - 6:30am or 6am - 6:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Quality Technician assures quality of bottles and the final package prior to shipment to the customer. Train new personnel on the importance of quality and on various plant quality systems and issues. The Quality Inspector works closely with the Supervisor and production employees to achieve a quality product. The primary duties of a Quality Inspector include:

• Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
• Compare product on each line with the production schedule. Informs Supervisor if items differ and takes appropriate action.
• Visual checks of bottles and box glue patterns on a regular basis for final packaging audits.
• Report all rejected defects to PMTs and Supervisor. Follow through until defect is corrected.
• Follow established procedures for defective products and gives all information to the Supervisor when product is put on “Hold”.
• Report completed rework of defective products data according to established procedures.
• May assist in training as assigned.
• Assist the Supervisor as required.
• Perform specified checks in accordance to Plant’s inspection plan.
• Verify correct operation of in-line inspection devices, i.e. - leak testers, vision systems, metal detectors and other appropriate automated inspection equipment.
• Complete all reports and forms for product and process documentation.
• Enter required data to plant’s Statistical Process Charts (SPC) database.
• Complete written documentation as required.
• Assist in break relieves and helps out in production area when needed.
• Keep Quality Assurance inspection areas clean.
• Communicate about quality with other shifts and departments verbally and through written documents according to established procedures.
• Limited travel may be required.

Core Proficiencies and Skills
Quality Inspectors are required to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential of the position: Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
Computer usage and typing skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
A minimum of 2 year of related experience in Quality Inspector/Auditor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
OPERATIONAL
- Inventory management & control (locations, quantity, records accuracy)
- Internal and external order fulfillment Receive, Stock, Pick, Pack, Ship for internal & external customers.
- Maintain all materials in accordance with quality standards.
- Coordination of material and information to and from repair stations.
- Receiving: Receive and review inbound shipments for transportation accuracy. Inspect and communicate all required information, research, and complete all complex receipts of incoming material.
- Shipping: Prepare outbound shipments in accordance with DOT, ATA 300, and corporate requirements.

- Daily interaction with warehouse leads, supervisors, and management.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of Warehousing experience.
• Essential mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Prior operational understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, MS Office, and any related Aviation software.
